Enhancing the Implementation of Creative Education in Primary Schools through Cross-disciplinary Collaboration

K12 Theatre

Overview

Creativity can be nurtured from a young age. With this belief, PMQ Seed aims to sow a creativity seed in kids. Matching STEM and creativity in education is a global phenomenon. Therefore, STEM is taught in Hong Kong’s primary schools. Nonetheless, there is still a need for primary schools to collaborate with talent from different sectors of creative industries to implement creativity and technology in everyday life.

Join the sharing “Enhancing the Implementation of Creative Education in Primary Schools through Cross-disciplinary Collaboration” featuring Mr Woo Tat Wing (Panel Head of STEM EDUCATION, CCC Wanchai Church Kei To Primary School) and Mr Allan Au (New Media Artist and Software Engineer, Fablab Tokwawan) together with our moderator Mr Kevin Siu (Architect & Assistant Professor, AaaM Architects), for a glimpse of how cross-disciplinary collaboration can advance creative education through successful examples.

Since 2018, PMQ Seed has been collaborating with various local creative and educational organisations to design a series of cross-disciplinary and immersive educational activities, workshops, and exhibitions to cultivate design thinking among school children. It is our goal to enrich children’s growth with creative design skills.

PMQ Seed is organised by PMQ and sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
