eMusic x STEM for Future

Overview

Music is not a simple thing. Not only is it a kind of fine arts or entertainment, but it also consists of STEM elements from mathematics to programming. Through the process of learning and producing eMusic, we can enhance our understanding on the application of computational thinking. Alternatively, different composition and arrangement could even make an impact on one’s emotion. This is why it takes a lot of learning to perfect each bar of music, and the learning outcomes could definitely be applied to different media.

In this presentation, the speakers will share how the production of eMusic could be applied in cross-media in all aspects and industries, such as: video production, film and video game music, events and scenario applications. Meanwhile, there will be students introducing how to embark on the road of music production through simple steps and techniques. There will also be onsite demonstrations on learning how to observe, analyse and create skills through sight and hearing, so that students can be prepared for the new media in the future.
