Using Thinking routines to enhance students engagement

Overview

The thinking routine is a series of tools applicable to any subject and students of any ability. The teacher does not say much in the whole class and does not need to force concepts but scaffold them layer by layer. As a result, every student can participate and express themselves. When we see the students' thinking and sparks, we know that the agency brought by design is more direct and more effortless than we imagined. This workshop will introduce several commonly used thinking routines and simple operations with the iPad.
