Promote Differentiated Instruction by Metaverse Immersive Learning

Overview

Metaverse is one of the hottest topics recently, and the relationship between the metaverse and education has also been discussed enthusiastically in the education field. Based on the advantages of this school's eLearning and the epidemic’s impact, this school has established a 4D immersive learning system, allowing students to explore the world without leaving school. The system enables students of different learning styles to learn more effectively through simulated situations and 360 multimedia content.

The 3D map of Hong Kong developed by the HKSAR Government has been installed in the system, allowing students to browse various districts in Hong Kong in an immersive way, allowing students to understand the architecture, geography and planning of each district. Students can also use a 360 camera to capture and share different themes in the immersive system. The content includes writing skills in Chinese, self-introduction in English, urban development in General Studies and appreciation of art pieces in Visual Arts.
