Learning STEM Aeronautical Knowledge through Immersive Experience

Overview

This project aims at implementing a school-based STEM aeronautical knowledge curriculum through immersive learning. Flight training software provides a virtual flight experience which improves students’ engagement and allows students to experience and become immersed in the various weather events. The follow-up workshop offers an opportunity for students to learn more about design, characteristics, and performance of aircrafts.

This project integrated the learning topics of STEM-related subjects listed as follows:
Geography: weather and climate
Design & Technology: design considerations, systems and control
Science / Physics: force and motion
