Integrating Robots and Storybooks into English Reading Lesson Design

Overview

To introduce robotic and STEM elements to the English lessons, this school has integrated English book series with a robotics kit in the reading workshops for Primary 1 and 2 students since last academic year. Robo Wunderkind is an award-winning robotics kit from Austria. With Robo Wunderkind, students can build their own robots and order them to do an array of actions by setting programmes. The speakers would like to develop students’ interest in reading and enhance their story presentation skills. This seminar will share how they adopted the robot in ICT subject, and merge it with English lesson.
