Application of Board Games to Support the Interface between Kindergarten and Primary School

Overview

Board games are not just for fun, they can also help students adapt to the school life and learning mode in primary school so as to attain a smooth transition from kindergarten to primary one.

In this seminar, the speaker will share the board game programme that this school has launched in cooperation with Bonaventure Integrated Children and Youth Centre and three kindergartens. The programme included board game education introduction, board game classes for children and a teacher training workshop. It aimed at helping students to develop their interpersonal communication and logical thinking skills before entering primary schools.
