IT in PE: Development and the Use of AI Running Analysis Mobile Application to Improve Students’ Athletic Performance

Overview

With the development of IT and sports science, we can use different applications to evaluate sports performance. This seminar will share a case study of artificial intelligence running posture analysis mobile application jointly developed by the Information Technology Discipline of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) and Cheung Sha Wan Catholic English Secondary School. It will discuss how to use the mobile application to help coaches analyse data to improve athletes' training efficiency and competition performance. It will also share how secondary schools enhance students' interest and understanding of physical education through IT applications.
