InnoSTEMer (Seminar)

Overview

This seminar will showcase the maker experience and achievements of the junior secondary students and share how the schools adopt interdisciplinary pedagogies to equip students with essential subject knowledge, skills and attitudes. Based on the design thinking framework, students learn how to turn empathy into innovative ideas, and transform them into prototypes, as well as go through the learning process of planning, producing, testing, refining and communicating. Throughout the STEM learning journey, students can gain a better understanding of the difficulties and challenges they may encounter during the prototype production process. At the final stage, with the guidance and support of the enterprises, the students can turn prototypes into products, benefiting different social audience and creating a community that is full of care and support.
