Success Sharing: Connecting Local TVET Programmes to Worldwide QFs

Overview

According to an International Labour Office Geneva survey, more than 70 countries are in the process of developing or implementing some kind of a qualifications framework. Many countries are trying to improve the relevance, quality and flexibility of their education and training systems, and to implement qualification framework as a translation tool that connects different countries’ systems.
Given UK’s long history in maintaining a framework for vocational and technical qualifications, during this seminar we are going to share some successful cases in connecting local TVET programmes to QFs around the world, thus creating new opportunities and enhanced mobility to learners, whether it’s for employability or pathways to Higher Education.
