Sparkles of Happiness — From Reading Picture Books to Creating Intergenerational Bonds

Overview

Picture books are stories suitable for children. They also allow us to use stories to teach children knowledge and life lessons, and are a good medium for behavioural learning. Given picture books with different themes, how can we as parents/childcare providers use picture book stories to extend learning? Or how can we use picture books to give children good ideas for growing up?

In this seminar, the speaker will select some picture books about elder-child relationships as examples and share with the participants creative ideas, strategies, and experiences with happiness activities based on our past experiences. At the same time, the speaker will invite an experienced storyteller to share her experience and show how the activities are implemented.
